In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Hop Yuen Construction, a reception was hosted on 24 August 2014. The old house and Hop Yuen office at 18 Ship Street, rated as Grade II Heritage Building, was used as the main backdrop for the evening to bring back the memory. Managing Director Mr David Tse and his family shared the story of Hop Yuen and thanked the guests and staff for their support. At the event, Mr Tse announced the inauguration of “Hop Yuen Charitable Foundation” to support the needy ones and entities, witnessed by all the guests.
